Fifty-two local vendors are taking part in the Dermaga Weekend Night Market, which serves as a platform to empower local entrepreneurs, especially food vendors and creative product entrepreneurs, besides creating a relaxed and lively atmosphere at the iconic Dermaga Diraja area. Organised by Syarikat AIZ Event Planner and Management through the Bandar Seri Begawan Municipal Board, the launch took place at the Dermaga Diraja Open Space, in the capital, 23rd April night.
Held every weekend, visitors have the opportunity to enjoy a wide selection of local food for sale, musical performance and various community activities. Such an event is part of ongoing efforts to build an ecosystem that supports the growth of small and medium enterprises and enliven the nightlife of the capital.
